Barbers know what is going on around town and so I thought that I’d share some market news. The real estate market has got so much doom and gloom, and news never seem to run out.

In South Forsyth, two weeks ago, Bowen Family Homes has sold 12 new homes in their Stonehaven subdivision. Currently, there are about 300 homes built in the area but the neighborhood will have ultimately about 500 homes. There will also be a 10-acre recreation area.

I suspect that a lot of these buyers are first time buyers taking advantage of low interest rates and not having to sell a home before they buy.

It just shows that it is not all doom and gloom in the Alpharetta (and Cumming) real estate market.
