Pictures increasingly tell the story in our visual age. As much as how important pictures are for photographers, it’s also of the same importance for home buyers. Why? Because anything that can be browsed and seen online when one is shopping for a potential house is a lot helpful prior to calling a Realtor. Also, it tells whether or not a seller is serious about getting interested buyers for a house or real estate.

For the month of February this year, out of the 65,663 Residential and Condominium properties listed in the Multiple Listing Service for the Atlanta metro area, there are 5,023 which had no photos.

For a real estate agent, it is unforgivable not to provide well-taken, well-lighted, well-cropped photos of the home they are marketing for their listing. Digital photography nowadays are very easy to learn and quick to do so there should be no excuse not to have a photo of a house that is being sold.

Also, saved searches is the trend how most buyers look for houses for sale. If you have a home without a picture in your listing, and in the event the buyer gets a notification for it; most likely, yours will be ignored and you just lost a customer and a chance.

If you would like to improve better on photography, you can do so without spending so much time or money. A cool tool is piclens, which can make a good result out of the pictures you take.

Otherwise, you can look into other realtors’ photos and see for yourself. Try to judge according to how potential home buyers will judge it and see if you could find yourself buying a home without a picture, or with one that has a bad angle.
